Escape Recruitment Services Ltd is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join a mobile engineering team in North Lanarkshire. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance across industrial plant and heavy equipment, with a basic salary of £45,500 and rotating days/evenings shifts.

You will diagnose mechanical faults, service and repair pumps and gearboxes, and uphold safety standards while minimizing downtime.

Formación

• Experience in mechanical maintenance in industrial settings.
• Ability to read technical drawings.
• Welding and fabrication skills.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic abilities.
• Safety-conscious with maintenance record-keeping.

Responsabilidades

• Complete planned and reactive mechanical maintenance.
• Fault-finding on hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Servicing, stripping and rebuilding pumps and gearboxes.
• Maintaining high-speed rotating equipment.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
• Carrying out welding and fabrication repairs.
• Identifying defects and recommending corrective action.
• Following safe systems of work and completing maintenance reports.
