Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a machine control technician to install, calibrate, and service machine control products on excavators, dozers, and rollers at customer sites across the UK. The role requires field, depot and remote work with strong time management and self-initiative.

You will promote machine control solutions, support installation, diagnose auto electrical, mechanical and CAN Bus based systems, and report issues to management.

Qualifications

• Higher education in mechanical/electrical engineering with 1-2 years site/plant fitter experience advantageous.
• Experience with auto electrical, mechanical and CAN Bus based systems.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical plant machinery systems.
• Proven diagnostic skills and ability to read technical diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Installation and calibration of machine control products on excavator, dozer and roller solutions.
• Work with machine control support Eng. as required and report damages to management.
• Manage on-hire and off-hire diaries for the depot; field, depot and remote based work.
• Promote and support machine control products across construction sectors.
• Deliver and collect machine control equipment to customers and suppliers.
