Job summary

Igne Group Limited is seeking a motivated Graduate to join our Specialist Drilling team in Daventry. Start your career as a Graduate Logging Engineer, supporting borehole geophysics data delivery across the UK.

Work with an experienced team to gain hands-on experience in wireline logging, data acquisition and site investigations. You will develop technical knowledge while working outdoors, travelling to remote sites, and completing full training.

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology or Environmental Science or related discipline.
Clear written and verbal communication, with good IT skills (MS Office).
Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines in live data environments.
High attention to detail in field data collection and reporting.
Willingness to travel and work extended hours in outdoor field conditions.

Responsibilities

Operate wireline logging equipment safely from the logging vehicle.
Monitor real-time data acquisition for accuracy and quality.
Perform equipment checks, calibration and basic on-site troubleshooting.
Maintain field logs, job reports and data records.
Collaborate with engineers, drillers and site supervisors to meet project objectives.
Follow HSE procedures and company policies.
Assist with equipment maintenance, mobilisation and demobilisation.
Travel to remote sites and work flexible hours as required.
Support senior management with additional tasks.
