Job summary

Ripple Recruitment Ltd is seeking a qualified Lift Engineer to join the engineering team in North Hampshire. The role covers installation, servicing, maintenance and repair of specialist access and low-rise lifting equipment across the UK.

This hands-on position blends field engineering with quality control, audits, and mentoring an in-house apprentice. Occasional overnight travel may be required for national projects.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift & Escalator is required.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Strong background in lift installation, maintenance and diagnostics.
• Self-motivated with good technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel overnight for national projects.

Responsibilities

• Carry out field installations, servicing, repairs and fault diagnostics on lift equipment.
• Perform internal quality audits to ensure safety and compliance.
• Mentor the in-house apprentice engineer.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and colleagues to solve site issues.
• Provide professional service to clients on site.
