Job summary

Stewart Johnson Partners Limited in Eccles seeks an Installations Supervisor to lead installation teams across technical projects, ensuring safety and customer standards while travelling for site work. The role combines hands-on supervision with planning, coordination and disciplinary support.

You will manage daily installation operations, coordinate crews and equipment, review deliveries, and maintain project records.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising installation teams.
• Experience supporting disciplinary and performance-management processes.
• Experience managing attendance, timesheets and overtime.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Good computer literacy, including Microsoft applications.

Responsibilities

• Support the Installation Manager with daily management of installation teams.
• Coordinate projects, installation crews, equipment and third-party suppliers.
• Review planned deliveries and installations before scheduling.
• Ensure the work planner remains accurate and up to date.
• Attend site surveys and project meetings.
• Manage installation issues and escalate concerns when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate records and full project traceability.
• Monitor project costs and support cost-control measures.
• Provide team briefings and operational guidance.
• Conduct site audits and installation spot checks.
• Identify non-conformances and implement corrective actions.
• Support cross-training, development and upskilling of installation staff.
• Manage performance, conduct, attendance, timesheets and overtime.
