The Business

Westray Recruitment Group is seeking a Field Installation Technician for our client based in Northumberland. The company supports various sectors and is experiencing growth. The role involves working away from home across the UK, supporting a growing customer base with installation, service, repair, and maintenance of pool cover systems.

The Role

• Work away from home Monday-Friday, typically leaving Monday morning and returning Friday afternoon
• Conduct multi-site visits across diverse locations
• Install and replace heat retention cover systems in poolside environments
• Provide technical services during installation and maintenance
• Work in a team of two
• This role involves physical activity, including lifting and carrying
• Subject to DBS and reference checks

The Person

• Mechanically minded with problem-solving and electrical fault-finding skills
• CSCS Card, PASMA, and/or Abrasive Wheels certification desirable or willingness to obtain within probation
• Experience with hand and power tools preferred
• Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team on-site
• Good communication skills and presentable appearance
• Basic computer literacy and familiarity with smartphone/hand-held tech
• Commitment to health & safety standards
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn and develop
• Driver CPC Licence advantageous but not essential
• Willing to undertake relevant training
