Job summary

Rlm Services (Southampton) Ltd is looking for a Site Installation Engineer to join our expanding team. The role will be based near Totton with regular travel to London and occasional overnight stays, requiring flexibility.

You will be involved in workshop and site activities, including assembling equipment and installing piping and pumping systems. Training is provided for candidates with partial experience, and a practical, hands-on approach is essential to grow with the company.

Qualifications

• Good practical skills gained from a trade and a willingness to learn.
• Flexible with travel and overnight stays when needed.
• Training provided if experience in all disciplines is not complete.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical equipment, service pumps, steel frames, valves and fittings in the Totton workshop.
• Carry out site servicing such as replacing seals, repairing PE pipes, threading steel pipe, and valves.
• Install PE and steel pipework on client sites, including rain guns, sprinklers and pumping systems; handle electrical cabling.
• Operate cherry picker or scissor lift as required.
