Job summary

Blue Oak Recruitment is recruiting for an experienced ESI Inspector to join a well-established engineering business, based in Huddersfield, with regular UK travel to client sites.

You will inspect, test and repair electrical and safety equipment to ensure compliance with safety, quality and legislative standards before certification for continued use. A full UK driving licence is essential due to travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in lifting equipment inspection and LOLER inspection.
• Familiarity with height safety equipment and fall protection.
• Experience with electrical safety equipment inspections.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test and repair specialist electrical and safety equipment to meet safety and quality standards.
• Carry out detailed inspections to identify defects or non-compliance and complete repairs where appropriate.
• Produce accurate inspection reports and certification records using an electronic reporting system.
• Travel to customer sites across the UK and manage workload autonomously.
• Represent the business professionally with customers.
