Job summary

Blue Oak Recruitment is seeking an experienced ESI Inspector for an established engineering business in Huddersfield. The role blends workshop-based inspection with travel to customer sites across the UK, inspecting, testing and repairing electrical and safety equipment to ensure compliance and certification.

You will generate comprehensive inspection reports, maintain certification records, and work independently to manage your workload.

Qualifications

• Inspect, test and repair specialist electrical and safety equipment to meet standards.
• Produce inspection reports and certification records using an electronic system.
• Travel to customer sites across the UK and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Carry out detailed inspections to identify defects, damage or non-compliance.
• Complete repairs where appropriate and produce accurate certification records.
• Manage your workload and represent the business professionally on site.
