Job summary

Aggreko plc in Dumbarton is looking for a Field Based HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to maximise the reliability and availability of our temperature control fleet through expert maintenance and fault diagnosis. You will work from the Dumbarton depot and travel to site as required, delivering hands-on service to customers and supporting safety and quality standards.

Ideal candidates will have City & Guilds/ONC Level 3 or equivalent, be F-Gas certified with a CITB Brazing qualification, and be

Qualifications

• Must hold City & Guilds/ONC Level 3 or equivalent engineering qualification.
• F-Gas certified with CITB Brazing qualification.
• Strong fault-finding skills and HVAC/temperature control knowledge.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and PC-based systems.
• Well organised, customer-focused, able to manage expectations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, troubleshoot and repair chillers, AHUs, pumps and AC systems.
• Prepare equipment for hire/transfer; ensure tested, compliant and on time.
• Carry out depot servicing; assist inventory management and procurement to maintain stock levels.
• Maintain high standards of safety, quality and service, adhering to QHSE procedures and regulations.
• Provide technical support to colleagues and customers; assist apprentices.
