Job summary

Securitas Technology UK is seeking a skilled field service technician to service intruder and access control systems across the Wakefield area. You will manage service calls, perform maintenance visits, and maintain vehicle and stock while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires security clearance eligibility, 3+ years in security systems, a full UK driving licence, and a strong problem-solving mindset. A proactive, flexible, and communicative approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible to obtain Security Clearance (SC).
• At least 3 years’ experience in the security systems industry.
• Clean full UK driving licence.
• The right to work in the UK, with a 5-year checkable history.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service, working closely with the Area Supervisor and National Call Centre.
• Use PDA management software to manage service calls and maintenance visits.
• Attend and resolve daily service calls plus scheduled maintenance work.
• Take responsibility for your vehicle and stock, ensuring they’re properly maintained.
• Bring a proactive, positive, “can-do” approach to every job.
• Join the callout rota, with opportunities for additional earning potential.
• Work flexibly when needed to meet client demand.
• Be based within ~30 minutes of your working area for responsive service.
