Job summary

JLD Recruit Ltd is seeking a Fire & Security Engineer to install, service and maintain fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV and access control across the Merseyside region, with a focus on high standards and customer satisfaction. The role demands versatile all‑round capability and reliability in a field‑based setting.

Salary ranges from £28,000 to £38,000 per year, plus a £250 weekly call-out rota, a company van, petrol card, PDA, and work shirts.

Qualifications

• Fire alarm experience required with FIA certification preferred.
• Intruder alarm experience welcomed; NSI background is a plus.
• IP CCTV and access control experience essential.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain fire, intruder, CCTV and access control systems across the patch.
• Carry out installation and maintenance work with a focus on reliability and customer satisfaction.
• Cover an on‑call rota for extra earnings where applicable.
