Job summary

JLD Recruit Ltd in Merseyside is seeking a Fire & Security Engineer to install, service and maintain fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems across the patch.

The role is field-based with a competitive salary of £28,000 to £38,000 per year depending on experience, plus a call-out rota (£250 per week), a company van 24/7, petrol card, PDA and work shirts provided.

Qualifications

• Fire alarm experience, FIA certification preferred.
• Intruder alarm experience with NSI background welcome.
• IP CCTV and access control experience required.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.
• Willingness to cover field-based installations and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Install, service and maintain fire alarms, intruder alarms, CCTV and access control.
• Work across the patch with a field-based role and call-out rota.
• Assist in testing, fault finding and system commissioning.

The Fire Security Engineer Role

A field based engineering role covering fire alarms, intruder alarms, IP CCTV and access control. You will carry out installation, service and maintenance work across the patch, with an additional call out rota available for extra earnings.

The Fire Security Engineer Candidate

We are ideally looking for an all rounder who can cover fire, intruder, CCTV and access control, but we would welcome applications from strong single discipline engineers too:

• Fire alarm experience, ideally with FIA certification
• Intruder alarm experience, NSI company background welcome
• IP CCTV and access control experience
• Full UK driving licence

The top of the salary range is aimed at an experienced fire alarm engineer holding FIA certification.
