A specialist contractor in fire suppression systems is looking for a skilled technician to perform servicing and repairs on fire pump systems. You will be responsible for ensuring high-quality service, accurate reporting, and compliance with safety standards. Ideal candidates should have a relevant engineering qualification and a full UK driving license. Additional certifications in confined space and electrical work are preferred. This role may involve travel and after-hours callouts, ensuring flexibility and commitment.

Qualificações

• Permit to work in the UK.
• Full clean UK Driving License.
• Clean criminal record due to working in highly secure areas.
• CSCS preferred.
• Confined space training preferred.
• Electrical certification preferred.
• Experience in the UK fire industry preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform servicing of fire pump systems to high standards.
• Provide detailed and accurate servicing reports.
• Perform repair work as required.
• Travel outside area to service client needs.
• Conduct monthly stock checks and provide stock sheets.
• Perform monthly PPE and vehicle checks.
• Attend out of hours call outs as needed.

Conhecimentos

Comfortable working with handheld electronic devices

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Competence in using Microsoft Office packages

Formação académica

Qualification in mechanical or electrical engineering
