Job summary

Munich Re’s HSB division seeks an Engineer Surveyor Category 3 to perform statutory inspections across mechanical equipment in South Yorkshire. You will handle diverse sites, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while working with a supportive, expert-led team. The role includes travel and a 40-hour week with overtime paid for extra hours.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' experience in general engineering environments.
• NVQ 3 or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
• Knowledge of statutory regulations (LOLER, PUWER, PSSR, COSHH).
• UK driving licence with up to 6 penalty points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out statutory and contractual inspections across mechanical equipment.
• Inspect sites such as football grounds and zoos to ensure safety and compliance.
• Support clients in remaining compliant, safe, and operational.
• Work within an expert-led, supportive environment.
