Job summary

HSB is seeking an Engineer Surveyor to perform statutory and contractual inspections across a range of mechanical equipment. You’ll inspect in varied settings—from stadiums to zoos—ensuring safety and compliance while operating with initiative.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in general engineering, NVQ 3 in engineering, and knowledge of LOLER, PUWER, PSSR, COSHH and British Standards, plus a UK driving licence with up to 6 points.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years experience in general engineering environments.
• Minimum NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
• Knowledge of LOLER, PUWER, PSSR, COSHH and British Standards.
• UK driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out statutory and contractual inspections across mechanical equipment.
• Work across varied environments from football grounds to zoos.
• Help clients stay compliant, safe and operational within a supportive team.
