Job summary

HSB is seeking an Engineer Surveyor for the South East London area to perform statutory and contractual inspections across a range of mechanical equipment. The role involves diverse sites, from sports venues to zoos, ensuring safety, compliance, and operational readiness while supporting a collaborative, expert-led team.

With 1–3 years in general engineering and NVQ 3 in engineering, you will work with a strong focus on statutory guidelines and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience in general engineering environments.
• Minimum Level NVQ 3, or equivalent award, in an engineering discipline
• Knowledge/understanding of statutory regulations (LOLER, PUWER, PSSR, COSHH) and British Standards

Responsibilities

• Carry out statutory and contractual inspections across mechanical equipment.
• Inspect diverse sites from football grounds to zoos to ensure safety and compliance
