Job summary

Munich Re Group, via HSB, is seeking an Engineer Surveyor in Chelmsford to perform statutory and contractual inspections across a range of mechanical equipment. The role is varied, with inspections at diverse sites, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while providing expert support to clients.

You will join a professional team that values accuracy, initiative, and a strong safety culture, with travel time included in a 40-hour week and overtime paid for additional hours.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years' experience in general engineering environments.
• Minimum Level NVQ 3 or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
• Knowledge/understanding of statutory regulations (LOLER, PUWER, PSSR, COSHH) and British Standards.
• UK Driving licence with up to 6 points.
