Job summary

HSB is seeking an Engineer Surveyor to perform statutory and contractual inspections across mechanical equipment at venues from football grounds to zoos, ensuring safety and compliance within a supportive, expert-led team.

The role is based in Poole/Bournemouth, 40 hours per week with travel time included, and overtime paid for additional hours. A structured rewards package and ongoing training support professional growth within the Munich Re Group.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years’ experience in general engineering environments.
• Minimum Level NVQ 3, or equivalent award, in an engineering discipline.
• Knowledge of statutory regulations (LOLER, PUWER, PSSR, COSHH, British Standards).
• Holder of UK Driving licence with no more than 6 points.

Responsibilities

• Carry out statutory and contractual inspections across mechanical equipment.
