Job summary

Allianz is seeking an Engineering Technician for a home-based role with hybrid working options. You will conduct thorough inspections of mechanical plant equipment, from lifting gear to motors, to assure safety and operational integrity.

You will travel within your designated area, work hands-on, and use electronic reporting tools to deliver accurate results. The role supports compliance, interacts with clients, and collaborates within a team led by a Senior Operations Team Leader.

Qualifications

• Minimum NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a Mechanical or Electrical discipline.
• Demonstrable hands-on experience in an engineering environment.
• Full, valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of mechanical plant equipment across sites to ensure safety and integrity.
• Proactively support clients in compliance by guiding them through relevant legislation.
• Collaborate with Engineering Technicians under guidance of Senior Operations Team Leader.
• Utilise electronic reporting tools to deliver prompt, accurate inspection results.
