Allianz is seeking an Engineer Surveyor to lead hands-on inspections of lifts, cranes, and material handling equipment across client sites in the UK. You will report findings electronically, ensuring prompt, accurate documentation for our clients.

The role requires understanding of Lift and Crane compliance, strong communication, and willingness to travel within your allocated area. A UK driving licence and an NVQ level are essential, with hybrid working options available.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or above in mechanical subject.
• Full valid UK driving licence.
• Time management skills essential to self‑organise weekly work.
• Comfortable using tablets and smartphones as part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Carry out hands-on inspections of lifts, cranes, and related plant.
• Prepare examination reports using electronic reporting for fast client delivery.
• Anticipate client needs and ensure compliance with relevant legislation.
• Travel within local area to client sites and manage inspections.
