Job summary
Service Service in Stevenage is seeking an Industrial & Commercial Combustion Engineer to join a specialist engineering team. You will service, fault-find, repair and install industrial burners and combustion equipment across varying sectors.
A strong gas engineering background and the relevant certificates are essential, along with a full UK driving licence. The role includes on-site duties, a salary of £50,000–£55,000 depending on experience, rising to £60,800 when fully qualified and on-call.
Qualifications
- Experience in industrial or commercial combustion engineering.
- A strong background in gas engineering and electrical systems.
- A practical, customer-focused approach and ability to work on site.
Responsibilities
- Install, service, maintain, fault-find and commission combustion equipment.
- Diagnose and repair faults in gas, oil, electrical and control systems.
- Work with combustion management controls and instrumentation.
- Support gas, oil, waste-stream and multi-fuel firing systems.
- Carry out planned maintenance and reactive visits at customer sites.
- Provide technical support to ensure safe, efficient operation.
