Job summary

Hexagon Recruitment is seeking a CCTV & Access Control Field Engineer to install, maintain, and troubleshoot door access control systems across varied sites in the UK. You will work independently and as part of a team, with emphasis on electronic security expertise.

Responsibilities include installing hardware/software, performing preventive maintenance, and collaborating with clients to tailor security solutions. Travel locally or nationally as required.

Qualifications

• Experience installing and maintaining door access control systems.
• Strong knowledge of electronic security systems (key card, biometric, intercom).
• Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with Verkada security systems is an advantage.
• Hold a Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain door access control systems (hardware/software).
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance of access control systems.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in access control systems.
• Collaborate with clients to understand security needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards during installations and maintenance.
• Provide training and support to clients on access control systems.
• Keep detailed records of installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Travel locally or nationally as required.
