Job summary

4way Recruitment has partnered with an established security systems provider to secure a permanent Security Engineer to join their growing engineering team.

This role focuses on service and maintenance, with on-site visits to customers, inspections and preventative maintenance of access control and CCTV systems, fault finding and remedial work, and an on-call rota. A company van is provided, door-to-door travel, and a comprehensive benefits package supports ongoing training and progression.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Security Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of access control and CCTV systems.
• Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships.
• Valid UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance on access control and CCTV systems.
• Troubleshoot faults and complete remedial works on access control and CCTV systems.
• Maintain and repair electronic access control and CCTV systems.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
• Maintain accurate service records and compliance documentation.
• Ensure work complies with industry standards and regulations.
• Participate in the emergency call-out rota (approx. 1 week in 7).
