Gigaclear is seeking a Field Engineer to support the Break Fix of the FTTH/FTTP network across traditional civil works and PIA overhead/underground tasks. Training pathways include external sector accredited courses and internal Gigaclear training on network operations, fibre splicing and testing.
Starting salary £28,000 to £32,000 depending on experience and qualifications, reporting to the Operations Manager.
Already working in Telecoms but looking to work for the client on a full fibre network, a role that will support you with a training pathway that will include external sector accredited courses on underground and overhead PIA, NRSWA, etc, as well as internal training on the Gigaclear network, fibre splicing and testing?
A starting salary of £28,000 to £32,000 dependent upon experience and current qualifications / accreditations.
Reporting to the Operations Manager the Field Engineer will then be responsible for a variety of tasks involved in the Break Fix of the Gigaclear FTTH / FTTP network. Works will include traditional (civils / buried) and PIA underground and overhead. The Field Engineer will be responsible for ensuring all works meet Gigaclear standards as well as compliance with NRSWA, SROH and the relevant build, break fix & fibre specifications.
