Gigaclear is recruiting a Field Engineer to support a full fibre network rollout in the UK. The role includes training on underground and overhead PIA, NRSWA, and fibre testing, with a clear progression path.
Starting salary £28,000 to £32,000 dependent on experience, with responsibilities for break-fix on FTTP networks, civils and testing, and adherence to Gigaclear standards and safety.
Already working in Telecoms but looking to work for the client on a full fibre network, a role that will support you with a training pathway that will include external sector accredited courses on underground and overhead PIA, NRSWA, etc, as well as internal training on the Gigaclear network, fibre splicing and testing.
A starting salary of £28,000 to £32,000 dependent upon experience and current qualifications / accreditations.
Reporting to the Operations Manager the Field Engineer will then be responsible for a variety of tasks involved in the Break Fix of the Gigaclear FTTH / FTTP network. Works will include traditional (civils / buried) and PIA underground and overhead. The Field Engineer will be responsible for ensuring all works meet Gigaclear standards as well as compliance with NRSWA, SROH and the relevant build, break fix & fibre specifications.
