Job summary

Anglian Water Group Ltd. is seeking a Field Engineer to join its Alpheus operations team. You will be responsible for routine maintenance, reactive and remedial work on treatment facilities across Cambridgeshire, Bedfordshire, and Lincolnshire, with occasional travel to nearby counties.

The role requires adherence to safety standards, efficient route planning, and proactive problem-solving. A strong mechanical and electrical grounding, plus good communication, will help you excel.

Qualifications

• High degree of self-management and excellent communication skills.
• Good mechanical and electrical knowledge.
• Strong technical/operational knowledge.
• Knowledge of environmental legislation is advantageous.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily routine maintenance on treatment facilities, including cleaning, sampling and maintenance tasks.
• Perform emergency and planned recovery work as required, including confined space entries and plant repairs.
• Ensure all client contract terms are adhered to and provide feedback to Head Office via multiple channels.
• Assist planning of daily routes with Service Delivery Supervisor to optimise efficiency.
• Maintain safety, method statements, risk assessments and on-site security; wear PPE and report defects.
