Job summary

RVT Group Ltd seeks a hands-on Technical Field Installation Engineer to deliver specialist engineering solutions across the UK, with travel across the South East and occasional UK-wide assignments. You will install, commission, and test equipment including LEV systems and water treatment solutions.

This role suits someone who enjoys variety, problem solving, and working with site teams to ensure safe operation, with a strong emphasis on health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in electrical or mechanical fields is required.
• CSCS Blue or ECS Gold card is required.
• Ability to review Risk Assessments and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install and commission a wide range of technical equipment across UK sites.
• Work with site teams to ensure safe and effective equipment use.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns including callouts.
• Maintain high health and safety compliance at all times.
• Install, commission, and test LEV systems and Envirohub water treatment solutions.

Technical Field Installation Engineer

Covering South East region, with occasional UK wide travel

We're looking for a hands-on Technical Field Installation Engineer to join our growing team, delivering specialist engineering solutions across the UK.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, travel, and problem-solving, working with cutting-edge equipment including temporary heating, LEV systems, and water treatment solutions.

What You'll Be Doing

• Installing and commissioning a wide range of technical equipment across UK sites.
• Working closely with site teams to ensure safe and effective equipment use.
• Diagnosing and resolving equipment breakdowns (including callouts).
• Delivering high standards of health & safety compliance at all times.
• Installing, commissioning, and testing:
  • Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems
  • Envirohub water treatment systems

What We're Looking For

Essential

• NVQ Level 3 (Electrical and/or Mechanical)
• CSCS (Blue) or ECS (Gold) card
• Ability to review Risk Assessments
• Level 2 Maths (or equivalent)
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable

• Experience working on construction sites (2+ years)
• BOHS P600 / P601 certifications
• Knowledge of LEV systems
• Health & safety qualifications (IOSH / SSSTS)
• IPAF, PASMA or Confined Space certifications
