Job summary

RVT Group is seeking an on-site Technical Field Engineer to perform installation and commissioning across the UK, including LEV systems and Envirohub water treatment equipment. You will guide site teams, address breakdowns, and uphold safety standards on various sites.

Qualifications include NVQ Level 3 in Electrical/Mechanical, CSCS Blue (or ECS Gold), plus ability to review risk assessments. A valid driving licence and robust IT skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical and/or Mechanical fields
• CSCS (Blue) or ECS (Gold) card
• Ability to review Risk Assessments
• Maths C England Level 2 qualification
• Minimum of 3 years of experience on construction sites
• Certificates BOHS P600 / P601 (preferred)
• Familiarity with LEV systems (preferred)
• Health and Safety Certification (e.g., IOSH/SSSTS) (preferred)
• Basic knowledge of occupational health risks (preferred)
• IPAF/PASMA/Confined Space certifications (preferred)
• Proficient IT skills (preferred)
• Valid driving licence (preferred)
• Professional appearance (preferred)
• Effective verbal and written communication (preferred)
• Ability to work independently (preferred)
• Project management capabilities (preferred)
• Confidence and self-reliance (preferred)
• Strong problem-solving skills (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site technical engineering installations across the UK for RVT equipment.
• Coordinate with and guide site agents on equipment usage.
• Address equipment breakdowns as needed.
• Ensure a high standard of health and safety awareness on site.
• Commission and test Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) systems.
• Execute on-site technical engineering installations for Envirohub water treatment equipment.
• Commission and test water treatment systems.

Education

NVQ Level 3 in Electrical and/or Mechanical

CSCS (Blue) or ECS (Gold) card

Ability to review Risk Assessments
