Job summary

Major Recruitment are recruiting for an Industrial Site Electrician in Bilston, Wolverhampton, on behalf of our client, an award-winning market leader in water treatment solutions. The role involves installing, testing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and process equipment at operational water and wastewater treatment sites across the UK.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary site team, you will complete planned and reactive electrical work safely, efficiently and to the required

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an industrial electrician in water treatment or similar process environment.
• Read electrical drawings and interpret technical specs.
• Knowledge of RAMS and permit-to-work systems is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Install, terminate, test and commission electrical equipment and control panels.
• Carry out planned maintenance, fault finding and repairs on industrial systems.
• Read schematics and ensure safe isolation and reinstatement.
• Test installations and document results, reports, and handover info.
• Travel across the UK and stay away from home as required.
