Job summary

Construction in Birmingham is seeking a qualified Electrician for a field-based role combining installation work, fault finding, and independent day-to-day tasks across social housing and residential properties.

You will install and service domestic ventilation systems, with training provided, a company vehicle, paid overtime, and a package including 25 days holiday. Salary £45,000–£50,000 with bonus potential.

Qualifications

Electrical installation background within domestic, residential, or social housing environments.
Level 2/3 NVQ in Electrical Installation.
18th Edition qualification and practical fault-finding skills.

Responsibilities

Install domestic ventilation systems within social housing and residential properties.
Carry out inspection, repair, and replacement works on existing ventilation systems.
Complete electrical testing, fault finding, drilling, fitting, and practical installation work.
Work within occupied homes with a professional, customer-focused approach.
Complete fit sheets, photographs, electrical certificates, and job updates using company systems.
Manage van stock, tools, and materials to ensure efficient job completion.
Coordinate with scheduling and operations to maintain service standards.
