Job summary

Veolia is seeking a field-based maintenance technician to support sewage treatment site operations across the Southern Region. You will follow schedules from the Services Manager, troubleshoot equipment, perform risk assessments, and keep documentation current.

This role requires City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation or NVQ Level 3, plus 2391 Inspection and Testing. You will travel across sites, stay away from home when required, and benefit from 25 days leave, pension, and health

Qualifications

Ability to read and understand P&ID's/electrical drawings
Understanding SOPs and GMP Engineering systems
Experience with maintenance tasks and site documentation

Responsibilities

Carry out work as per schedule supplied by the Services Manager or Supervisor and as per site policies, schedules and procedures.
Troubleshoot problems with equipment as necessary, and as directed by site supervisors.
Carry out Risk Assessment of Equipment Maintenance Task Lists and ensure these are always kept valid.
Update maintenance task list and site documentation as appropriate.
Carry out Periodic reviews of EWI/SOP to ensure documents are always current and valid.
All work on site to be carried out in accordance with site EHS and Veolia EHS rules and guidelines.
Be prepared to travel nationwide across multiple sites and stay away from home when required.
Participate in a periodic call-out rota providing 24/7 coverage for one week at a time.
