Job summary

Cambridge Maintenance Services is seeking a Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our on-site team in Cardiff. You will perform planned and reactive maintenance on a range of electrical systems across client properties, ensuring safe, compliant operation and high customer service levels.

You will work with the Lead Engineer and Support Desk, using our Elogbooks system, and participate in an out-of-hours rota. A company van and tools are provided to support duties.

Qualifications

• Essential: Electrical Installation qualification (City & Guilds Level 3 or equivalent).
• Essential: Inspection & Testing qualification (e.g. City & Guilds 2391-52).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver planned and reactive maintenance across client electrical systems.
• Ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• Maintain records using the Elogbooks system.
• Coordinate with Lead Engineer and Support Desk on schedules and reporting.
• Attend out-of-hours emergency call-outs as required.
• Adhere to health & safety legislation and industry regulations.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and training.
