Job summary

Interaction Technical is seeking an experienced Crane Technician to service, inspect and repair HMF and PM lorry-mounted cranes across the UK. The role involves field service at customer sites, diagnosing hydraulic, mechanical and electrical faults, and delivering a high standard of customer care.

Desirable qualifications include ALLMI/Operator/Thorough Examiner certifications and LOLER inspection experience. Training and career progression are provided in a stable engineering environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with truck-mounted cranes and lifting equipment.
• Strong hydraulic fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• Field-based role across the UK with on-site service.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HMF and PM cranes.
• Diagnose hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical faults.
• Conduct LOLER inspections, testing and certification work.
• Manufacture, repair, and replace hydraulic hoses.
• Attend breakdowns and provide on-site support.
• Complete inspections and service documentation accurately.
• Ensure work is carried out safely and to industry standards.
• Deliver professional service while maintaining customer relationships.
