Job summary

Technical Partners International is seeking a Compex Electrician for field-based work in Leeds with 3 nights away per week. Base salary £52,188 plus a company van, fuel card and overtime opportunities, with an OTE £80,000+.

The role requires reading schematics, working in Hazardous and Non-Hazardous environments, and ensuring ATEX compliance. The position offers a competitive benefits package, 40-hour week plus overtime, and a focus on safety, wellbeing, and renewable energy initiatives.

Qualifications

• Approved Electrician with an accredited apprenticeship or equivalent.
• 18th edition compliance required.
• Compex 01-04 experience.
• 2391/2394/2395 Testing certification.
• CCSNG or equivalent safety passport.
• ATEX rated equipment experience (motors, control stations, boxes, lighting).
• Installation of metal trunking, conduit, tray systems, SWA cables, LV distribution equipment.
• Strong ability to read electrical schematics and control docs.

Responsibilities

• Support internal and external electrical projects across the UK.
• Be the on-site contact and ensure project execution and clear communication.
• Install, inspect, test, and maintain electrical systems in hazardous environments.
• Ensure compliance with ATEX and safety regulations.
• Read, interpret, and apply drawings and control system docs.
• Diagnose faults and promote on-site safety.
