Job summary

Cortech Talent Solutions Ltd is seeking a hands-on field engineer to commission and optimise our waste-to-fuel systems at customer sites, mainly in Northampton and the Midlands. The role is hands-on, site-based, with travel required and a flexible schedule to support business needs.

You will monitor performance, perform testing and simple repairs, document work, and collaborate with engineers and project managers to improve efficiency while upholding health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years’ hands-on or technical experience operating machinery in a process environment.
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home as required.
• Good attention to detail with a methodical, problem-solving approach.
• Strong communication skills for on-site customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Commission and optimise systems at customer sites to transform waste.
• Test, monitor performance and carry out simple troubleshooting on site.
• Update maintenance documentation and health & safety records.
• Train on-site operatives and support project teams as needed.
• Collaborate with engineers and managers and report progress and risks.
