We are a small company designing, trialling and scaling innovative new technology that transforms the way waste is handled by changing it into a material that can be reused instead of being sent to landfill or incineration. Our ethos is to rethink what waste could become – instead of simply being disposed of, our advanced biotechnology will turn it into an alternative fuel source, creating environmental benefits and reducing the disposal costs for our customers.
We are looking for someone with experience who is passionate about sustainability and keen for a new challenge in the waste sector. The role involves commissioning and optimising our systems to maximise the performance. The role will require reasonable travel and the need to be flexible on work schedule to support business demands.
To commission and monitor the systems at customer locations to achieve the transformation of waste into an alternative fuel source. Locations mainly Northampton and the wider Midlands.
The role is hands-on and site-based, commissioning systems and ensuring they are operating as expected, and performing simple troubleshooting activities while building knowledge and experience over time.
You will provide day to day support and carry out testing (on site, following protocol), and conduct servicing and troubleshooting with support and guidance from team members
This role would suit someone early in their career or looking to move into a field-based role. You will enjoy hands-on work, learning new skills, and working in a customer-facing environment. You’ll be curious and passionate about new technology and working in sustainability. You’ll have a logical system-based mindset with experience of process optimisation.
You will work as part of a small Operations team and collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and technical specialists.
** Most trouble shoots will be guided if you need **
