Job summary

Helping Hands is seeking a Care and Training Practitioner to act as a Field Care Supervisor. You will coach carers, supervise the team, and help the branch maintain quality and compliance while building meaningful relationships with customers.

You will visit customers, review care plans, and support on-call duties, bringing a people-first mindset and calm leadership to the role.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Care Assistant and a desire to take the next step in your career.
• A full, clean UK driving licence and access to a roadworthy, insured vehicle.
• Strong communication skills and a supportive, encouraging approach to working with others.
• A people-first mindset - calm, kind and ready to lead by example.

Responsibilities

• Train, mentor and support new carers so they feel confident, capable and ready to deliver extraordinary care.
• Assist the branch team with compliance, auditing and documentation.
• Complete spot checks and supervisions to maintain high standards across your care team.
• Visit customers to review care plans, ensuring they remain accurate, safe and person-centred.
• Carry out risk assessments with care, clarity and professionalism.
• Support on-call duties in line with the branch rota.
