Job description

Alcedo Care Trafford are expanding and looking to recruit a full time experienced, dedicated, and compassionate Field Care Supervisor for our Trafford office to strengthen our team. £14 - £14.50 per hour PLUS Holiday Pay and Pension.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly motivated and dynamic team who are passionate about delivering exceptional care.

You will be working as part of a team to:

  1. Undertake spot checks on care workers within the field.
  2. Support the ambassadors and complete competency checks.
  3. Conduct customer service reviews.
  4. Assist with completing carers and clients’ weekly rotas.
  5. Help with business development.
  6. Supervise care services.
  7. Provide care in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures.
  8. Perform on-call duties during evenings & weekends on a rota basis.
  9. Deliver high quality care to our customers.

Job Description:

Split job role: 20 hours office based and 20 hours in the community.

  1. Work in line with the company's mission, vision, values.
  2. Collaborate with other Team Leaders.
  3. Develop effective working relationships with our Care Managers, Care Assessors & Care Coordinators.
  4. Maintain care skills at a current level and undertake training and development, all supplied in-house.
  5. Monitor care workers and evaluate their performance.
  6. Evaluate standards of care competence across the workforce, highlighting areas that require development.

Requirements:

  1. 6 months care experience is required and at least a level 3 in Health and Social Care.
  2. Compassionate and caring nature.
  3. Professional and dedicated representation of Alcedo Care.
  4. Experience with different computer programs; training is supplied.
  5. Hardworking and flexible.
  6. Holds a full UK driving licence and has access to their own car.

We are looking for kind, caring & compassionate people to provide outstanding care in your local area and become an Alcedo Care Team Leader. Whether you have care management experience in the NHS as a senior care assistant or nursing; previously worked in a care home or nursing home as a supervisor; or been an area manager in the community providing care. A UK driving licence and access to a car is required.
