Electroserv is looking for a Field Calibration Technician to join its field service team. You'll calibrate and repair process instrumentation for high-profile customers in all industries, working for a growing, market-leading company that both sells and services sophisticated process instrumentation.
The role is field based. Applicants within an hour's commute of Electroserv's second office in Bramley (RG26) are preferred because of where the client base is.
Electroserv has been a leader in calibration services for the last 50 years. We've grown and opened up new opportunities over the past decade, and we plan to expand further. We work in Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (EC&I) and offer a complete service, from design and configuration, express delivery and installation through to UKAS accredited calibration and a full project life-cycle service.
As a Field Calibration Technician, you'll carry out calibration service and repair on process instrumentation, in the field and in the workshop. Your time is split roughly 50% in the field and 50% in the workshop or office.
Field work covers the UK, with occasional trips around Great Britain and the Continent. You'll build relationships with clients on site, and raise service reports and test certificates for the work you carry out.
It would help if you also have field or customer-facing experience, a CCNSG card, CompEx 1-4 or 1-6, experience in process or petrochemical environments, electrical and controls knowledge, Profibus knowledge and UKAS knowledge.
