Job summary

Essex Cares Limited is recruiting an Inclusive Employment Volunteering Coordinator to support individuals with barriers to employment through volunteering and community-based activities. The role focuses on end-to-end support, profiling, coaching and linking with local voluntary opportunities.

The post is full time within the Inclusive Employment team, with a salary of £29,274 per annum and a requirement for a full driving licence and vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering to an employment service or social care contract
• Experience working in a target-driven environment in line with KPIs
• Experience directly supporting individuals into employment or volunteering
• Understanding the needs of employers and individuals with barriers to employment
• Experience providing employment support as part of a government scheme (desirable)
• A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end support for individuals seeking volunteering, work experience, or community outcomes
• Complete community profile assessments and provide support and/or job coaching
• Work closely with organisations offering voluntary opportunities
• Create pathways for customers ensuring customer-centric outcomes in line with targets
