Job summary

KEYENCE in Birmingham is seeking ambitious graduates to take ownership of their careers. You will collaborate with the Sales Team to qualify customer requirements, provide technical consultancy, run demonstrations and pilots, and manage a portfolio of clients with standout technical service.

Two office days will be based in Birmingham and three field days travel across the UK and Ireland. Starting salary £33,000 plus location allowance, with a guaranteed quarterly bonus in Year 1, a company car,

Qualifications

• A degree in any discipline (preferably STEM based).
• Strong problem-solving and technical know-how.
• Programming/Automation (Vision Experience) preferable but not essential.
• Experience in teaching, training, or public speaking.
• Excellent communication skills and a full UK driving licence.
• Eligibility to work in the UK by 1 July 2026.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales to qualify customer requirements and create technical proposals.
• Provide technical consultancy pre and post sales including demonstrations, proofs of concept and pilot projects.
• Troubleshoot technical enquiries and, where necessary, lead onsite support and handover to internal teams.
• Manage a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring excellent customer service and strong relationships by technical approach.
• Support new business activities including customer research, outreach and qualifying leads in collaboration with sales colleagues.
• Testing difficult application with Sales Engineer and prepare client proposals, presentations and training tailored to customer needs.
