Job summary

KEYENCE CORPORATION in Birmingham is seeking ambitious graduates to join a fast-paced, technically challenging environment. The role blends office work with extensive field travel across the UK and Ireland. You will collaborate with Sales to qualify requirements, provide technical consultancy, demonstrate solutions, and support pilots.

A STEM degree and strong communication are desired. The company offers a car, private healthcare, pension, life cover, and fully expensed travel and equipment,

Qualifications

• A degree in any discipline (preferably STEM based).
• A problem solver with technical know how.
• Programming/Automation (Vision Experience) preferable but not essential.
• Some experience in teaching/training/public speaking.
• A full UK driving licence.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales Team to qualify customer requirements and create technical proposals.
• Provide technical consultancy to customers pre and post sales including demonstrations, proofs of concept and pilot projects.
• Troubleshoot technical enquiries and, where necessary, lead onsite support and handover to internal teams.
• Manage a portfolio of existing clients, ensuring excellent customer service and strong relationships by technical approach.
• Support new business activities including customer research, outreach and qualifying leads in collaboration with sales colleagues.
• Testing difficult application with Sales Engineer and prepare client proposals, presentations and training tailored to customer needs.

Weekly Structure

• 2 Office Days based out of our Birmingham office
• 3 Field Days, with travel expected throughout UK and Ireland depending on business needs
