Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Commercial Sales Manager for the Solar/Renewables sector. This field-based role covers the North of England, focusing on converting warm commercial leads into multi-kW projects for a growing renewables specialist.

You will oversee the full commercial sales process, collaborating with design and delivery teams to ensure a smooth customer journey and successful project completion, with excellent earning potential via commission and car allowance.

Qualifications

• Experience as Commercial Sales Manager or similar role with a proven ability to convert warm leads into high-value projects.
• Background in construction, project sales, engineering or commercial projects.
• Experience in Renewable Energy, Solar, EV, Heating, BMS, Wind, Data Centres or related sectors is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and convert a pipeline of warm commercial leads into contracted projects.
• Understand customer requirements and develop appropriate commercial solutions.
• Conduct client meetings, site visits, and presentations.
• Prepare and present commercial proposals and quotations.
• Negotiate and close projects while maintaining long-term relationships.
