Job summary

Magna Housing Group is seeking a skilled Labourer to join our Asset team in Dorset. The role delivers high-quality labouring from initial report to completion, including basic brickwork, repairs, and routine maintenance, with travel across Dorset.

You will work independently, have a full driving license, excellent customer service, and comfortable using a mobile device to record tasks. A on-call rota occurs every 10–12 weeks with additional pay.

Qualifications

• Proven labouring experience within the building/trade industry.
• Good understanding of property repair processes and materials, with the ability to work without supervision.
• Great customer service skills alongside basic IT skills, as we manage our workload and record our tasks on a mobile device (iPad).
• You will need to hold a full driving license and be prepared to travel to our customer’s homes across the Dorset area.

Responsibilities

• General labouring, clearance and cleaning, including basic brickwork and concrete repairs, as well as general yard and basic maintenance duties.
• The role requires working independently and engaging politely and professionally with customers and colleagues.
• Participate in our out-of-hours on-call rota once every 10–12 weeks, with an additional pay allowance.
• Ensure compliance with current legislation and meet customer needs from initial report to completion.
