Job summary

Meridian Trust is seeking a Senior HR Adviser (field based) to provide a high-quality HR service across the Cambridge Hub, supporting a group of schools with policy implementation and employment legislation compliance.

You will act as case owner for ER matters and advise managers on recruitment, terms and conditions, maternity/paternity, sickness absence, and HR administration, working with the HR Manager on complex issues.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at Level 4 or above.
• Level 5 HR qualification or equivalent work-based experience.
• Experience handling ER casework.
• Willingness to undergo further training and development.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with Principals/Headteachers and HR Officers across the hub.
• Apply employment legislation knowledge to support schools in resolving issues.
• Offer advice to managers on recruitment, terms and conditions, pay, maternity, paternity, sickness absence, HR administration, SCR, etc.
