Job summary

BYD (U.K.) Co., Ltd is seeking a Field-based Sales Manager to drive the sale of new electric buses across the United Kingdom. You will manage a portfolio of accounts, prospect for new business, and deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients.

You will develop regional sales plans aligned with national targets, build strong relationships with customers and industry stakeholders, and travel frequently within the UK to secure opportunities and deliver on milestones.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years sales/customer account management in automotive sector.
• Strong English written and verbal.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Experience with CRM systems.
• Willingness to travel UK frequently.
• Proven sales track record.
• Knowledge of electric buses beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Generate sales of new electric buses.
• Manage a portfolio of customer accounts as main contact.
• Identify new sales prospects in your area.
• Develop and implement plans to penetrate new clients.
• Grow relationships with existing customers and stakeholders.
• Deliver presentations introducing Company, Product, Commercial, Technology, After Sales & Parts; coordinating internal colleagues.
• Develop a business plan and sales strategy aligned with national targets.
• Travel within the UK to meet clients and attend events.
