Job summary

B&Q is seeking a Retail Network Support & Operational Change Manager to lead the UK retail logistics network from the Southampton area with nationwide travel. You will drive efficiency, operational resilience and network capabilities to meet evolving customer demand and trading propositions.

The role requires extensive logistics leadership across multi-site environments, budget oversight and strong cross-functional collaboration with 3PLs, Kingfisher, and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in complex logistics and retail supply chains.
• Proven ability to lead multi-site operations and 3PL partnerships.
• Strong budget oversight, productivity challenges and cost-saving focus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and empower the retail logistics team to maximise output and clarity of priorities.
• Oversee development and future-readiness of the retail logistics network and capacity changes.
• Manage Branston SFC showroom fulfilment operations, including performance, safety and risk.
• Hold budgetary responsibility and lead cost reviews, productivity and savings opportunities.
• Coach and develop line reports, delegating effectively with accountability.
• Collaborate with 3PLs, Finance, HR, and transformation for project alignment and governance.
• Drive continuous system and process improvements using data, KPIs and insights.
