Job summary

Osterna is seeking a Property Assessor to join our Asset Compliance team. This field-based role covers Watford, Middlesex and London, with travel required to sites and reporting on safety and compliance for our portfolio.

You will carry out fire asset checks, EPC assessments, and on-site inspections, producing high-quality evidence and maintaining records to deadlines. A Level 3 DEA qualification and a full UK driving licence are essential.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA) qualification is essential.
• Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality assessment reports.
• Confidence using IT systems, including Microsoft Office and web-based platforms.
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication with a professional manner.
• Ability to undertake regular site visits, including walking and stair use.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fire asset checks and report risks or defects.
• Undertake on-site property inspections including fire safety checks.
• Complete full domestic EPC assessments with data capture and lodgement.
• Support additional inspection types as the service develops.
• Maintain accurate inspection records and submit findings on time.
• Travel across Watford, Middlesex and London; flexible hours as needed.
