Job summary

Hollen Plus is seeking an experienced Freelance Non-Domestic Energy Assessor to lead a portfolio of commercial EPC renewals across the UK. This is an initial 2–3 month contract with potential for ongoing work.

The ideal candidate holds NDEA Level 3 & 4 accreditation, a valid UK driving licence, and a strong track record in assessing commercial properties. Level 5 capability is advantageous for this role.

Qualifications

• Accreditation as Non-Domestic Energy Assessor (Level 3 & 4 required; Level 5 advantageous).
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle for site visits nationwide.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality data collection.
• Experience assessing varied commercial property types (office, industrial, retail).

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough on-site energy audits and inspections across a nationwide commercial portfolio.
• Gather detailed empirical building data to minimise reliance on software defaults and secure accurate energy ratings.
• Produce and lodge Level 3 and Level 4 EPCs (Level 5 DSM modelling capability advantageous).
• Coordinate closely with the London team to deliver clear outputs.

We’re looking for a Freelance Non-Domestic Energy Assessor (Level 3 & 4 Minimum, Level 5 Advantageous).

• Gather detailed empirical building data to minimise reliance on software defaults and secure accurate, optimised energy ratings.
